High Voltage Probes

Differential probes measure differential signals. That is, they measure the difference between any two points. This is in contrast to a single-ended probe, which measures the difference between a single point and ground. Differential probes are especially popular for measuring high-frequency signals or signals of very low amplitude (i.e., approaching the noise floor). Differential probes use a differential amplifier to convert the difference between two signals into a voltage that can be sent to a typical single-ended scope input.

The voltage of the solar installations (also known as photovoltaic or PV installations) increases to reduce cost and improve the efficiency of solar equipment. As a result, it is important to select measuring instruments that support higher voltage measurement to protect the safety of inspection workers.
The P2000 enables high voltage measurement up to CAT III 2000 V by simply connecting to a compatible Hioki clamp meter or digital multimeter (DMM).

Most Digital Multimeters can measure AC Voltage up to 750 /1000V and DC Voltage upto 1000V DC. To extend the measuring range of the digital multi meter for low - power , high - voltage , high impedance circuits such as TV, Video Monitors.
